Issue of Fraudulent Cheques by Unscrupulous Persons

The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) wishes to inform the public that persons, unknown to the Ministry, are tendering cheques allegedly drawn by the Ministry of Transport and Works on a National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, Mandeville Plaza, Mandeville Account.

The public is hereby advised that the Ministry of Transport and Works has no account at this branch, and urges persons to exercise extreme vigilance in their daily transactions.

Any further attempt to present or encash such cheques should be reported to the police immediately.
