Minister Guy Tours Ministry Entities

As part of a familiarization exercise, Minister without portfolio, (Housing), Dr. Morais Guy toured various areas falling under the purview of the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing on Friday, January 20.

Facilities toured, included the Boscobel Aerodrome; the Boscobel Heights Housing Scheme,  the Tower IsleOffices of the Transport Authority all in St. Mary and the Housing Agency of Jamaica’s Office in St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann.

During the tour, Minister Guy used the opportunity to meet staff of the various entities and outline his vision/expectations. He said that he was looking forward to working with the members of staff with a view to fulfilling the mandate of the Ministry and by extension, Jamaica.

Accompanying the Minister on the tour were officials from the various entities.

Minister Guy assumed duties in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing on Monday, January 9, 2012.
