MTW and Chinese Delegation Discuss Matters of Mutual Interest

A chinese delegation was in the island recently meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Works. The Chinese met with MTW personnel concerning a number of areas of mutual interests. Among the matters discussed were, buses for World Cup Cricket in 2007, the Montego Bay Bypass Project, the Yallahs Bridge Construction and River Training, the Spanish Town to Ocho Rios Highway and the Palisadoes Road Rehabilitation and Sea Defense. The team had a breakfast meeting at the Pegasus Hotel on Friday July 29, 2005.
