Segment three of NCHIP opened Agualta Vale Roundabout renamed
Segment Three of the Northern Coastal Highway Improvement Project (NCHIP) was
officially opened on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in a ceremony at the Agualta Vale
Roundabout.The Roundabout was also
renamed the Robert Schuman Roundabout in honour of the co-founder of the EU,
Minister Davies and Permanent Secretary Tour St. Ann’s Bay Examination Depot
Transport, Works & Housing Minister, Dr. the Hon.
Omar Davies along with Permanent Secretary Audrey Sewell and other officials
toured the St. Ann’s Bay Examination Depot on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
This was in an effort to get a first hand view of
the facility which has been earmarked for upgrading and refurbishing
PAJ/Usain Bolt foundation partner to build statue in honour of sprint icon
The Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) has partnered with the Usain Bolt Foundation to erect a statue of the sprint icon at the Falmouth Pier in Trelawny. The statue will be created by Kay Sullivan and will be unveiled at the port during the 2013/14 winter tourist season.

His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO paid a visit to the Ministry of Transport, Works & Housing on Monday, April 15, 2013.
