The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC), the state bus company, today met with a team of investigators from the Fraud Squad of the Organised Crime Investigation Division of the Jamaica Constabulary amid growing internal reports of the use of fraudulent tickets on its buses, particularly on Portmore routes.
Road Safety Road tour rolled into Manchester and St Elizabeth
Hundreds of patrons turned out on Saturday October 12, 2013 to support the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing’s Road Safety Road Tour. The Tour made stops in Mandeville, Junction and Santa Cruz, with patrons anxious and eager to share their knowledge of road safety, win prizes and absorb the information from the various stakeholders.
70 Residents of Ebony Park Housing Scheme receive Certificates of Titles
After more than three decades since the establishment of the Ebony Park Housing Scheme in Clarendon, some seventy (70) residents have received Certificates of Title for the lands they were allotted. Road Safety road tour off to a good start
The Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing’s island-wide road tour got off to a great start on Saturday September 28. The Tour kicked off with the first stop at the Sagicor Shopping Centre, and saw patrons welcoming the message of road safety with open eyes and ears. The Tour then moved to Old Harbour and culminated with a massive gathering in May Pen Town Centre.
